Lighter, faster, and with a high-speed gear ratio, the Pflueger President XT Spinning Reel improves upon an already solid foundation of performance. Lightweight strength is the name of the game with the President XT, as the aluminum body and main shaft are 30% lighter than stainless steel, and the aluminum pinion gear is 60% lighter than a traditional brass gear.The spool is braid-ready, meaning braid line can be tied directly to it. The bearing drive system includes corrosion-resistant stainless steel ball bearings and an instant anti-reverse bearing for reliable performance, and the sealed drag system ensures drag washers are always lubricated and smooth. Also includes a carbon fiber handle and rubber cork knobs for a no-slip grip.
