Petzl Pantin Foot Ascender

Foot ascender for vertical rope climbs. Designed to improve the speed of vertical rope ascents the Pantin can be used in conjunction with Croll, Ascension or Ascentree rope climbs or Prusik loops. The design of the Pantin facilitates rope glide after the first couple of meters allowing for a seamless ascent. Teeth on the cam are self-cleaning allowing the device to perform under the harshest conditions. Ascend frozen, dirty ropes, that are all too common in alpine environments. To release the device during a climb the user just needs to kick backwards useful when topping out during caving or crevasse rescue scenarios. Consturcted from a combination of aluminium, stainless steel and high strength Dyneema the Pantin highly durable. The device can easily be adjusted to the size of your boot with the DoubleBack buckle. For the most demanding of ascents, make them a little easier with the Petzl Pantin.
