Hope Floating Disc Rotor

The very popular HOPE Floating reel is popular with both performance oriented riders and those looking for something a little different. The wide braking area makes it more compatible with other brake companies such as MAGURA and others. Outer ring – the braking surface is connected by rivets to the aluminium centre sleeve. It is a semi-floating disc, which allows axial movement of the outer ring – braking half of the disc. This floating design better copes with temperature changes on the outer ring, making it larger when heated and reducing the possibility of the disc bending under high loads.
