The Alchemist 2024 ‌is a men’s freeride snowboard from K2 Snowboard.Designed for experienced riders who need a board that provides a high level of performance for riding at full speed in powder and ice! Ride with a smile on your face and the Alchemist on your feet! K2 has compiled all the best technology in the Alchemist. First of all, the Spaceglass technology stiffens the whole board while controlling its weight. Also, the Spectral Braid technology is a real grid allowing stiffness in the tip and heel and more flexibility in torsion between the inserts for great manoeuvrability while keeping a precise grip on all types of snow. The final addition to the tail is the Carbon Power Fork technology, offering a drastic stiffening of the tail bringing impressive reactivity.Designed for committed freeride runs, but also for attacking on the piste, the Alchemist has no fears! With a rigid flex (9/10) and a directional shape, it is a real train on tracks capable of descending slopes with great stability. The S1 Core developped by K2 is made up of 3 different types of wood, which makes it ultra lightweight while remaining solid for excellent performances! The Alchemist from K2 has been designed with the Directional Camber Baseline. A shape that offers a long camber under the foot to provide maximum grip and power whatever the terrain. The Alchemist builds on the K2 legacy in the backcountry and applies it in a new and increasingly aggressive line for solid riders.
